Preliminary task - Evaluation

In this music video we chose the song 'Say it-Seven streeter-cover' because it was a rap song but the artist has made it into a song and it seemed very interesting as it was not too slow or to fast and had a soft melody to it.When we was planning this we had many ideas and we thought about some scenes carefully and we wrote it down which was beneficial.

 When we was filming it, many mistakes has happened and we shot this a few times as we lost the footage and we worked as a group to do it again .There was costume change and characters playing but we could have executed it better by focusing on the camera angles and how I can portray what I am saying to the audience. However, the closeups in some shots were good but not up to standard .

I think that this task went quite well but can see that it needs a lot of improvement because the green screen didn't quite work as the lighting seemed orange so when doing my music video I will need to consider this by adjusting the lighting correctly and choosing the right background.However, the different settings worked well in this music video by going to the park near the Basketball court as it is a raw , urban song so it was suited to the song.In addition , the lip-syncing was good because we made sure they knew the lyrics . Also, the editing was good because there was a basic story-line. 

What I learnt during this task was to be careful when choosing a song as it needs to be done correctly and we need to plan every step as it is harder when making and to improvise. Also, we need to be careful on the camera and mise-en-scene by planning it out.
